Lil Wayne Red Bank reviews
The concert was decent.
It would have been better if the people all the way in the 300 section could understand what the rappers were saying. Having them rap over their tracks made the artist sound mumble and I couldn't really enjoy the music.
Timing between artist should be planned out better, if the concert ends at 11:30p, then the last artist should not be coming out at that time.
That amount of drunk people and people smoking around you is ridiculous.
107.5 needs to be up to date with ticketmaster, they advertised $21 tickets, but i paid $48 for mine, that's a $27 difference and after going to the concert it was not worth $48
If you're a Lil Wayne fan, you MUST see him live!
Unlike a lot of fans, I've only been a fan of Lil Wayne for a year, so I missed out on him when he was in his prime. Nevertheless, once he announced Tha Carter tour, I HAD to get a ticket. I chose Charlotte, NC, because it's relatively close to my state, and I've been there before. And let me tell you, Lil Wayne was worth every penny I spent. He is simply AMAZING! He has such a sweet, kind spirit and made sure to thank us after every song. He performed his biggest hits, as well as a few mixtape and album cuts that most fans do not get a chance to hear live. My favorite part of the show was when the "Day-O/Banana Boat song" started playing, and Lil Wayne started looking around, then it progressively sped up and transitioned into 6 Foot 7 Foot! The crowd went BANANAS! I had so much fun singing along to almost every song. The only annoying thing was that some people kept pushing through the crowd to get to the front, pretending they had friends up front, and they made it hard to see at times.
I'd definitely see Wayne in concert again, and hopefully, there will be a meet and greet package next time, because I most definitely want to meet the cutest and best rapper alive!!!
